Proud mommy & daddy!

Okay so as you all know Leah has been potty training for a few months now and she's doing EXCELLENT! She hasn't gone poopies in her diaper in 2+ months :). She will still pee pee in her diaper if I don't catch her cues, but for the most part she's doing great!

Soooo...tonight Leah and I had our normal bedtime routine and normally she'll fall asleep with in minutes of me putting her down in bed, but this time after an hour being in her bed (not crying), she still hadn't fallen asleep and kept standing up, tossing and turning (I have a video monitor so I can see her when she's in her bed). I knew something was wrong so I go upstairs and asked her if she needed to go potty and she did. My poor little girl had to go poopies so bad, but didn't want to go in her pants that she waited until I went up to rescue her...she is such a good girl and I'm so proud of her :)

It just amazes me that at 10 months old, she would rather wait then go in her diaper. I truly hope she keeps this up!!

Father's Day

We decided to have Father's day over at our house. We had my father-in-law and stepmother-in-law over for lunch. We had such a great time that we didn't even realize how late it was getting and that it was just about dinner time :)

After they left, I realized that I totally forgot to take pictures so I had Chris and Leah go out in the backyard so that I can get some shots of Leah with her daddy as the sun was setting.

I've been working on a digital scrapbook that I had to get done before today because my coupons were expiring....you may be laughing at me right now, but I saved over $100 and spent only about $80 for 2 copies of a 75-page custom book :D LOL

Leah is finally crawling!

Leah started crawling less than a month ago YAY! Chris and I truly thought she was going to skip the crawling stage completely, but I'm glad we were wrong. She is so cute...she only uses her right foot to push off with while her left foot is tucked under her...she kind of just drags it around LOL :D

Leah's been trying to catch the cats when they are laying on the floor, but most of the time they just run and she starts laughing...only one time so far has she been able to catch Hunter. Poor Hunter had a ton of fur pulled out...I'm surprised he stuck around for the abuse. Watch up Cody, Tip, and Hunter...Leah is on the move!
