So our final stop was Labadee, Haiti, which is Royal Caribbean's private island. They had a bunch of stuff to do their from Flight line, Snorkeling, Parasailing to just relaxing at the beach.
The water was so warm and it was such a beautiful day
Leah loves her yellow float, she first used it back in May when we went to Florida
She just lays there with her drink & sun hat. Every so often she'll kick around, but mostly she'll just relax and enjoy being in the water
Time for a snack before she takes a nap
While Leah was taking her nap, Chris, Mandy, and I went on the Dragon's Tail Coaster. Mandy was driving our cart and Chris went on his own. The camera was turned off when we went on the ride so here's a stock image
Then Chris really wanted to go on the SeaTrek's so we all decided to take a guided tour around Haiti. Since it was Mandy and my first time on them and I was driving, I was timid at first, but then we opened it up and jumped a few waves...it was a blast! Chris has been on them before so he took his own SeaTrek.
At one point of our guided tour, the Haitians would come to us in their canoes and try to sell us their goods while holding onto our SeaTrek's. They live with no running water or electricity and burn wood to keep warm and make coal.
That night on the ship we decided to go see a show...it was awesome!
The next day they had food stations set up along the promenade with chef's cooking, ice sculpting, etc.
Chris is on the left and I'm on the right
These 2 Russians were just amazing
The next morning we leave the ship at 7:30 AM and head over to our hotel in Miami Beach, FL. Our hotel was along the beach with 3 pools and 2 whirlpools. We had connecting rooms and our view was over the ocean, it was very nice!
We headed to Lincoln Mall, which is basically Lincoln Road with shops and restaurants
The next day my mom and sister flew back to NY with us. After a long day of traveling, Leah was happy to be home and crawling around
