We desperately needed a family getaway and had many ideas in mind, but finally decided on trying out the Great Wolf Lodge up in Niagara Falls. It's an indoor water park with over 100,000 sq. ft. of water fun which included water slides, tube rides, a 4-story interactive tree house, wave pool, an outdoor pool area, and so much more. Needless to say the kids had a blast!! Leah could have been in the water all day every day if we allowed her to, but there was so much more to do then just the water park itself. They had Storytime every night; an activity room where the kids can color, play with toys, decorate shirts and pillows; spa and salon; huge arcade area; mini golf; a few restaurants to choose from; coffee shop; and other stuff. Anyway, you get the picture...it was an awesome resort.
We didn't take too many pictures because we were having fun with the kids and neither one of us really wanted to stop and get out our camera especially since we only had our iPhones, which are not waterproof.

| Jacob being goofy in the room - We had a very nice room! Fireplace, Balcony, a fridge, and microwave. We saved a lot of money by bringing a cooler full of stuff. We had drinks, pasta salad, PBJ sandwiches, cereal, and tons of fruit. We rough calculated that we saved over $200. We only spent money on 1 meal each day either lunch buffet or dinner buffet. The kids ate free at the buffet so we did that instead of the other restaurants. While in the water park, we would get snacks to tie us over. |
