I know I know...it's over 2 weeks ago, but I promised some of you I would have this up so here it is :)

Since this video, Jacob has been doing awesome and is liking everything I give him. As most of you know, I make my own baby food and decided one Saturday to make a few to freeze since I was able to find them organically. I've made him butternut squash, carrots, and yams. Next on the list will be apples and bananas.

Chris' friend is storing his classic car at our house for a few weeks. It was delivered from Reno, NV in this 75' 2 story truck...yes, 2 levels inside this truck to store classic cars - it was huge! So big that Chris had to meet the guy at a mall since it would have been impossible for this truck to unload anywhere else.

Father's Day weekend

We had a great Father's day weekend starting off by having Dad, Cindy, our nephew Colin, and our niece Lauren, over on Saturday for a cookout and ending on Sunday by being able to spend the day as a family enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. Chris' mom also stopped over to see us Sunday evening.

Chris is not only an awesome dad to our beautiful children, he is an amazing husband who loves spending time with his family. Thank you Hun for being who you are and for working so hard to provide for us! We love you :)

For a couple of months now, Jacob has been showing many signs of being ready for solids. However, I felt it was way too early for him to start and wanted to wait until he was at least 6 months old, so here is his first experience...enjoy!

Jacob is 6 months old!

On Monday, June 6th, Jacob had his 6 month checkup. I cannot believe my little man is 6 months old ALREADY! He is now 2' 3.25" tall (79th percentile) and weights 17 lbs. 13 oz. (58th percentile).

Leah was not happy with me after I told her she had enough stickers.

We are finally getting some beautiful weather around here and Leah has been itching to play with her sprinkler so we finally got it out.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was just a beautiful day all around! We had some lunch, spent some time at Fair Haven, and topped it off with dinner at Rudy's. Thank you to my wonderful husband who got the kids ready this morning and planned a beautiful day. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and great kids :)

Our beautiful girl :) She had so much fun at the park, or as she calls it the "ocean".

I wish I had my actual camera...not just my iPhone. This was just a beautiful sight! I have never seen so many swans at one time. I counted 13, but I'm sure there were more. It was so beautiful seeing them hanging out enjoying the beautiful lake. I believe we were witnessing swan courtship. It's hard to see in these pictures but they were dipping their heads in the water and stretching and twisting their necks. How cool is that :)
